About Us

Johnson's Funeral Service, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Willie and Lynda Johnson. We are a privately and family-owned business.

We serve families in Bladen and surrounding counties. We are a full service funeral home with affordable prices and provide services to all families of any background.

Lynda is the owner and manager and has over 30 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and owner. She attended Fayetteville Technical Community College Funeral Service Education program and received her funeral director’s license in 1979.

Mr. Johnson passed away in July 2013. Before his death, he oversaw the construction of the new chapel. Upon completion, the newly added chapel was dedicated in his memory and named the Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel. The chapel is capable of seating 200 people and has video capability.
