Reverend Robert Council Jr., 88, 154 Clem Council Rd., White Oak, NC died Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at his residence.

Survivors- four daughters, Frances Council of Raleigh, NC, Shirley Murchison of Lumberton, NC, Clara Council of White Oak, NC, Margaret Carter of Raleigh,NC, two sons, Richard Council of Dublin, NC and James Council of White Oak, NC, one brother, Eugene Council of White Oak, NC, two sisters, Elaine Eaglin and Maggie Owens, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral- Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 1:00pm at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church 5146 River Rd., White Oak, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Obie Worley.

Burial- First New Light Church Cemetery, White Oak, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.
