Viewing- Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Visitation- The family will receive friends at 4111 Mercer Mill Rd., Clarkton, NC from on June 14th from 1:00pm- 5:00pm, June 15th-17th from 3:00pm-7:00pm. 
 

Survivors- three brothers, Ret. (SFC) James Freeman, Jr.,(Wanda) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Pastor John Freeman(Lois) of Worcester, Massachusetts, Rene Freeman of Lumberton, NC, four sisters, Dorothy Freeman-Grady(Leroy) of Council, NC, Joyce Freeman and Connie Freeman both of Clarkton, NC and Janice Hernandez of Rochester, New York. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 1:00pm at Pierce Chapel AME Zion Church, 595 Porterville School Rd., Clarkton, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Elbert Graham. 
 

Burial- Bladen Memorial Gardens, Elizabethtown, NC.
