Rev. Willie Anderson McDowell, 84, of 1645 Coolidge Ave., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Viewing- Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Visitation- The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. Jerry McKoy 844 M&M St., Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- his wife, Lillian McDowell, one daughter, Tenisha McDowell, three brothers, James McKoy(Marylin), Curtis McKoy and Jerry McKoy, three sisters, Eleanor McKoy, Angela McKoy Lewis(Kirk) and Bertha Webbs, two uncles, Bennett McDowell(Eunice) and James Thomas McDowell(Norma), 1 grand daughter, Aniya Georges.

Funeral- Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00pm at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 4047 Hwy. 242 S. Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Dr. Louie Boykin.

Burial- Baldwin Branch Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
