Ms. Velma (Boyd) Jessup, 73, of 700 Mercer Mill Rd., Apt. 1C, Elizabethtown, NC transitioned Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Wilmington, NC.

Survivors- her children, Taaron Jessup, Vickie Ballard(Eddie), Kelly J. Purdie(Detrick), Erik M. Jessup, and Carlton Jessup(Angela), three sisters, Doris Jessup, Eva Spaulding Gatlin and Lovella Jacobs Cromartie(Ronald), one brother, Willard Boyd(Maurine), 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Viewing- Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Funeral- Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine Street Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Minister Annette Jacobs McKoy.

Burial- MitchellField Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.
