Ms. Barbara Jean Rhodie, 77, of 606 Williams St., Elizabethtown, NC died Monday, May 27, 2024 at UNC Health Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, NC.

Survivors- two daughters, Melody Rhodie of Elizabethtown, NC and Latrice Rhodie of New York, three sisters, Mary Melvin and Carolyn McMillian both of Elizabethtown, NC and Diana Burke of New York, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral- Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 3:00pm at St. James Fire Baptize Holiness Church, 503 Newkirk St., Elizabethtown, NC. Elder Billy Thompson, Pastor. Eulogy by Elder Lester Powell.

Burial- St. James Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
