Mrs. Velma Lee Willis Young, 76, 155 White Plains Church Rd., Clarkton, NC died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her residence. 
 

Survivors- two sons, Derrick Willis(Felicia) of Clarkton, NC and Eric Willis( Marilyn) of Bladenboro, NC, two sisters, Annie Monroe(Thurman) of Council, NC and Jean Ellison(Caudell) of Clarkton, NC, four brothers, Sylvester Willis(Roxy) and Lonnie Willis both of Council, NC, John Willis(Patricia) of Clarkton, NC and Elbert Willis of Council, NC, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
 

Funeral- Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00pm at White’s Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 6838 Airport Road, Clarkton, NC. Rev. Dr. Donald Ray Perkins, Pastor. Eulogy by Rev. Ronnie Reed, Pastor of First New Hope Baptist Church Suitland, Maryland. 
 

Burial- White’s Creek Church Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.

Viewing- Friday, March 29, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
