Mrs. Susie Carolina Melvin Council, 91 died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Cumberland Village Assisted Living in Fayetteville, NC.

Survivors- her husband, John Council, two sisters, Lou Ella Dalbany of Jeanette, La and Elizabeth Cogdell of Georgia, one brother, Allen Melvin, Sr., of Fayetteville, NC.

Funeral- Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12:00pm with no more than (60) people present at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Linwood Melvin, pastor of United Friends in Christ, Autryville, NC.

Burial- Melvin Cemetery, Fayetteville, NC.

Viewing- Thursday, May 25, 2021 from 10:00am-11:45am at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
