Mrs. Shirlene McKoy Gore, 55, of 301 Allendown Lane, Knightdale, NC, formerly of Council, NC died Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Wake Med Hospital in Cary, NC.

Survivors- her husband, Joecephas Gore of Knightdale, NC, one son, Jovan Gore of Greensboro, NC, one daughter, Jordan Gore of Knightdale, NC, Adopted son- Leonte Hill of Greensboro NC, two step-daughters, Christina Gore of Fayetteville, NC and Kista Gore of Greensboro NC, two step-sons, Joecephas Gore of Greensville, SC and Joseph Gore of Bladenboro, NC, two sisters, Melissa McKoy of Clarkton, NC, Dora Miller of Council, NC and Claudia Massey of Virginia, two brothers, Dean Clark of Council, NC and Timothy McKoy of Hallsboro, NC, her God-parents, Jessie and Ida Nun of Raleigh, NC, Special friends/sisters- Irma Lane of Raleigh, NC and Nikeasha Nun of Durham, NC.

Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 2:00pm at New Hope Cemetery in Council, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Melissa McKoy 2037 Center Rd., Bladenboro, NC.
