Mrs. Ruby Mae Shipman Richardson, 86, 398 Short Hill Dr., Tar Heel, NC died Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at her residence.

Survivors- one daughter, Mary E. Shipman of Tar Heel, NC, 1 granddaughter, Chameka Shipman of Tar Heel, NC, 2 grandsons, Ronnie Shipman and John Shipman both of Tar Heel, NC, 2 great-grandsons and a host of other family and friends. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00pm at Greater McKoy’s Chapel Church, 283 Center Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Dr. Delora Lesane, Pastor. Eulogy by Rev. James Jones, Pastor of Christian Plain AME Zion Church, Whiteville, NC. 
 

Burial- Lewis Cemetery, Dublin, NC. 
 

Viewing- Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2:30pm-5:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
