Mrs. Rita Lynn Montgomery Monroe, 54, of 53 Monroe Family Circle, Council, NC died Monday, July 5, 2021 at Cabarrus Hospital in Concord, NC.

Survivors- her husband, Bobby Monroe, Sr, of the home, three sons, Bobby Monroe, Jr, of Elizabethtown, NC, Samuel Monroe of Lumberton, NC and Jamar Monroe of Dublin, NC, three brothers, David Montgomery of Clarkton, NC, Clyde Melvin and Cory Montgomery both of Council, NC, two sisters, Kendra Brown of Whiteville, NC and Tammy Montgomery of Maryland, 9 grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00am at New Beginning Church Cemetery, 1369 Vause Rd., Clarkton, NC with no more than (50) people present. Eulogy by Pastor Leona Cromartie. 
 

Viewing- Monday, July 12, 2021 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
