Mrs. Retha Bell Smith, 86 of 615 McLeod Village, Apt. 1 Elizabethtown, NC died Monday, April 5, 2021 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center.

Survivors- her children, Nora J. Pone of New York, Genise B. Carter and Don L. Smith both of Elizabethtown, NC, Gladys M. Cromartie of Texas, Linda A. Simmons of Bladenboro, NC, Michael R. Smith and Anthony Smith both of Lumberton, NC and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral- Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 1:00pm with no more than (50) people present at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Joyce McLauglin, Presiding by Elder Dennis Hampstead.

Burial- Savannah Temple Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.

Viewing- Friday, April 9, 2021 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Genise Carter, 608 Richardson St., Elizabethtown, NC.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
