Mrs. Marlene Shirley Gaddy Braithwaite, 90, of 114 Ramon Rd., Tar Heel, NC transitioned on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Survivors- her grandson and caregiver, David Braithwaite of Tar Heel, NC, one son, Karl Braithwaite of Florida, one daughter, Keena Braithwaite of NC, host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Viewing- Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Funeral- Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 1:00pm at Clark Chapel AME Zion Church, 14743 NC 87 Tar Heel, NC. Pastor, Rev. Dr. Ronald Thomas. Eulogy by Rev. Thomas McKoy.

Burial- Grimes Cemetery, Tar Heel, NC.
