Mrs. Marie Brown, 97, of 4832 Lisbon Rd., Clarkton, NC died Monday, April 25, 2022 in Duke Hospice Inpatient Facility in Durham, NC. 
 

Survivors- one son, Merley Brown of Durham, NC, two sisters, Rosia Chiles of Rochester, NY, and Alberta Powell(Jerry) of Commack, NY, one brother, Sylvester Johnson of Rochester, NY, 2 grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and 5 great-great-great grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 10:00am at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Burial- New Zion Church Cemetery, Clarkton, NC. 
 

Viewing- Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Jerry & Karen Brown,  356 Happy Valley Rd., Elizabethtown, NC.
