Mrs. Jettie Ruth (Atkinson) Powell, 88, of 47 Janie High Rd., Clarkton, NC died Monday, July 20, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- two daughters, Gloria Douglas and Doris Griffen, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service for immediate family and invited guests will be Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 1:00pm with no more than (50) people at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Dr. Donald R. Perkins.

Burial- White’s Creek Church Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 1:30pm-6:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
