Mrs. Jackie Shirley Newton Johnson, 67, of 3386 Harrell Hwy, Garland, NC transitioned on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. 

Viewing- Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Visitation- The family will receive friends at 1764 Vause Rd., Clarkton, NC. 
 

Survivors- her husband,Stephon Johnson of the home, one daughter, Breonna Johnson, one son, Stephon Johnson, her siblings, Charles Newton, Mattie Holmes, Amos Newton, Mary Richardson and Glenn Newton, 3 grandchildren, Kaiden Johnson, Alanna Johnson and Quincy Johnson. 
 

Funeral- Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 12:00pm at St. Stephens AME Zion Church 51 E. 3rd Street, Garland, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Mattie Holmes. 
 

Burial- Garland Community Cemetery, 203 Hill Circle Rd., Garland, NC.
