Mrs. Georgia Avista Lewis, 104, died Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center, Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- one son, Herman Lewis(Charity) of Elizabethtown, NC, 1 grandson, Marion Lewis of Wake Forest, NC, nephew, Kreem McKeithan of Raleigh, NC, nieces, Marsha McKeithan Hampton of Fayetteville, NC and Cherise McKeithan of Lumberton, NC and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral- Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Maria Lacewell, Pastor of Mt. Zion AME Zion Church , 807 MLK Dr., Elizabethtown, NC.

Burial- Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Friday, August 19, 2022 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown. NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. Herman & Mrs. Charity Lewis, 2306 Alta St., Elizabethtown, NC.
