Mrs. Claudette Young Morrison, 76, of Hamden, Connecticut formerly of Riegelwood, NC transitioned on Wednesday, August 19, 2025. 
 

Survivors- her husband, Jimmy Morrison(Jimbo), two daughters, Tracy Smith and Kawanna Smith, two sisters, Violet Young Beatty and Gwendolyn Young Brown, two brothers, Zebeedee Young and John Young, 2 grandchildren, Brandon Thompson and Nyana Smith. 
 

Funeral- Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 12:00pm at Tabernacle Holiness Church, 549 Youngstown Rd., Riegelwood, NC. Eulogy by Dr. Pearly Hoskins. 
 

Burial- Tabernacle Holiness Church Cemetery, Riegelwood, NC.
