Survivors- her husband, Burkley(BB) Blackwell of the home, one son, Brogdon Ledell Murphy of Fayetteville, NC, one daughter, Tyaunka Murphy of Washington, DC, one sister, Elsie Blackwell of Tar Heel, NC,  one brother, William Ivey Murphy(Rose) of Tar Heel, NC, 2 grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00am at Spring Branch AME Zion Church, 1205 Spring Branch Rd., Tar Heel, NC. Rev. Earnest Blizzard, Pastor of Spring Branch AME Zion Church. Eulogy by Rev. Anna Maynor, Pastor of Prospect AME Zion Church, Shannon, NC. 
 

Burial- Beebe Cemetery, Tar Heel, NC. 
 

Viewing- Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Elsie Blackwell, 1977 Spring Branch Rd., Tar Heel, NC.
