 Viewing- Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown. NC. 
 

Survivors- one son, Kenneth A. Brown(Leslie) of Raleigh, NC, four sisters. Dorothy Grady(Leroy) and Joyce Freeman both of Lisbon, NC, Janice Freeman of New York and Connie Freeman of Elizabethtown, NC, three brothers, James Freeman Jr.(Diane) of Virginia, John Freeman(Lois) of Boston, Massachusetts and Rene Freeman of Lumberton, NC, 6 grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at Pierce Chapel AME Zion Church, 595 Porterville School Rd., Clarkton, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Elbert Graham. 
 

Burial- Bladen Memorial Gardens, Elizabethtown, NC.
