Mrs. Alvenia Baldwin Wright, 91, of 1232 Mears Lane, Clarkton, NC died Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Liberty Common Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Whiteville, NC.

Survivors- three sons, James Freeman, Jr.(Wanda) of Virginia Beach, Va, John Freeman(Lois) of Worchester, Ma and Rene Freeman of Lumberton, NC, six daughters, Rev. Deloris F. Jordan of Washington, DC, Dorothy F. Gray(Leroy) of Council, NC, Joyce Freeman, Betty Brown, and Connie Freeman all of Clarkton, NC, Janice Hernandez of Rochester, NY and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral- Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00pm at Pierce Chapel AME Zion Church, 595 Portersville School Rd., Clarkton, NC. Rev. Rona Watson is the Pastor. Eulogy by Rev. Elbert Graham.

Burial- Bladen Memorial Gardens, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
