Mrs. Alice Jane Martin McKenzie, 92 formerly of Council, NC died June 8, 2021 at Sapphire Nursing Home in New York City, NY.

Survivors- four daughters, Valeria Brown of Newsburgh, NY, Karen Booth of New York, NY, Gwendolyn Beard of Fayetteville, NC and Earline McHoney of Prince George, Va, two sons, Michael McKenzie of Whiteville, NC and George McKenzie of Greenville, SC, three sisters, Keevar Clark, Jane Echols and Wilma Lloyd, one brother, Eddie Martin, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral- Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:00pm with no more than (75) people present at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Artkyne Love, the pastor of City of Praise Ministries in Rowland, NC

Burial- Sandhill Cemetery, Bladenboro, NC.

There will be a viewing on Friday two hours prior to the service at the Funeral home. There will be no viewing after the service.

All attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
