Mr. Tyrone "Ty" Allen Singletary

Mr. Tyrone Allen Singletary, “Ty”, 58, formerly of Bladenboro, NC died Wednesday, January 30, 2024 at his residence. 
 

Tyrone was born March 18, 1965 to Charles Allen Blackwell and Vertis Ann Singletary in Manhattan, NY. Tyrone was preceded in death by his father, Charles Allen Blackwell. 
 

Survivors- his mother, Vertis Ann Singletary of Charlotte, NC, one daughter, Tamika McDonald(Lynn) of Lumberton, NC, 2 grandchildren, Zykia and Marquel McDonald of Lumberton, NC, one sister, Angela Singletary-Thomas of Charlotte, NC, his niece and nephew, Dwalla Lynise Thomas and Jarius Edward Rozier Thomas of Charlotte, NC, two aunts, Betty Lewis of Bladenboro, NC and Gloria Raye Singletary of Chapel, Hill, NC and a plethora of family and friends. 
 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Garland Pierce.
