Mr. Tommy Collins, 62, of 2100 Van Wert St., Greensboro, NC, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, NC. 
 

Viewing- Friday, March 6, 2026 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the church. There will be no viewing after the service. 
 

Survivors- his spouse, Jennifer Collins of the home, two daughters, Triynell Currie(Kenderick) and Cherrell Currie both of Greensboro, NC, three sons, Lawrence Collins of Greensboro, NC, Lonnie Jessup and Tommy Lee Harmon both of Elizabethtown, NC, three sisters, Rev. Linda Drye(Mervin) of Fayetteville, NC, Stephanie Johnson(Lee Ander) and Donnie Sue Whitted(Charles) both of Elizabethtown, NC, one brother, Donald Hue Collins(Sonja) of Lumberton, NC, 3 grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1:00pm at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt. Olive Church Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver. 
 

Burial- Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
