Mr. Thomas Brooks, Sr., 80, of 1206 McLean St., Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Survivors- his wife, Linda Brooks of the home, one son, Thomas Brooks, Jr., of Elizabethtown, NC, one daughter, Stephanie Hollis of Elizabethtown, NC, one brother, Benjamin Brooks(Barbara), three sisters, Priscilla Russell, Rose Jones and Carolyn Brown, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. 
 

Viewing- Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Visitation- The family will receive friends daily from 4:00pm-7:00pm daily at the residence. 

Funeral- Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00am at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt. Olive Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver. 
 

Burial- Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
