Viewing- Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Visitation- The family will receive friends at the home of Vera Melvin, 1047 Willard Tatum Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Survivors- two sons, Zion Rogers of Fayetteville, NC and Egypt Melvin of Elizabethtown, NC, his mother, Crystal Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, his father, Benjamin Ballard of Elizabethtown, NC, his godmother, Germaine Hines of Elizabethtown, NC, his maternal grandfather, James McDowell of Elizabethtown, NC, three sisters, Chimere Blanks, Kieaja Ballard and Dominick Cashwell, two brothers, Saquawn Baldwin(Robin) and Ludarius Ballard. 
 

Funeral- Thursday, September 25, 2025 at 2:00pm at Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 4047 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC. Pastor, Rev. Dr. Louie Boykin; Eulogy by Dr. Elder William C. Frazier. 
 

Burial- First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
