Survivors- three sons, James Buie of Elizabethtown, NC, Jonathan Peterson of Washington, DC and Trevor Dudley of Elizabethtown, NC, two daughters, Charmonia Mitchell of Elizabethtown, NC and Jennifer Peterson of Charlotte, NC, one sister, Gladys Hines of Florence, SC, one brother, Johnny McKoy of Richmond, Va, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral- Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Dr. Michael McKinley, Pastor of Royal Chapel Missionary Baptist Chapel, Ivanhoe, NC. 
 

Burial- Mitchell Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.
