Mr. Richard Louis Townsend, 51, of 1004 W. Seaboard St.,, Bladenboro, NC transitioned on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- three daughters, Alexis Townsend of Greensboro, NC, Kaitlyn Townsend and MaKayla Townsend both of Bladenboro, NC, two sons, Malachi Townsend of Bladenboro, NC and Tevin Williams of Whiteville, NC, three sisters, Nancy Bethea of Fayetteville, NC, Angela Bethea of Greenville, SC and Dianna Bethea of Chadbourn, NC, two brothers, Alton Bethea of Raleigh, NC and Levance Bethea of Charlotte, NC, A host of grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC.
