Mr. Richard McClendon, 62, of 2050 Allen Priest Rd., Council, NC died Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Survivors- one daughter, Jackie McClendon of Elizabethtown, NC, one son, Rezon McClendon of Clarkton, NC, one sister, Carolyn Hicks of Council, NC, 9 grandchildren.

Funeral- Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 12:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Dr. Gonzalez Harris.

Burial- Carver’s Creek Church Cemetery, Council, NC.

Viewing- Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.
