Mr. Richard Lee Horne, 81, of 5220 Germain Rd., Richmond, Virginia, formerly of Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home. 
 

Viewing- There will be a viewing following the service. 
 

Survivors- his wife, Simonia Irma Horne of the home, three daughters, Juanita Belinar, Ramona Horne and Shawntae Horne, seven sons, Cliff McKenzie, James McKenzie, Eric McKenzie, Richard Horne Jr., Charles Michael Horne, John Horne and Anthony Horne, one brother, David Horne, two sisters, Nellie B. Smith and Mary Alice McMillian, 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, A special niece, Felicia A. Horne-Murchison, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral- Monday, March 23, 2026 at 1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St.. Elizabethtown, NC. Officiating: Pastor Felicia A. Horne-Murchison. Eulogy by Evangelist Pamela Lewis.
