Mr. Pearl Jr. Bethea, 68 of 1221 N. Augusta Ave., Baltimore, Md., formerly of Dublin, NC died Thursday, May 27, 2021 at John Hopkins Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. 
 

Survivors- his wife, Lucinda Granger, three sons, Anwar Bethea(Jacqueia), Antoine Bethea(Tiffany) both of Baltimore, MD, Pearle Bethea of Dublin, NC, three daughters, Pearline Sculley(Michael) of Andrew Airforce Base, Theresa Jacobs(Wendell) of Clarkton, NC and Alice Wilkerson of Maryland, four step-daughters, Loretta Harris, Cheryl Alexander, Vera Grimes and Gina Ellis of Maryland, five sisters, Pearline Purdie, Shirley Bulter and Mazie Ballard all of Dublin, NC, Rosie Riggins and Margaret Ballard(Comar) both of Tar Heel, NC, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral- Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 2:00pm at Highway of Holiness Church 528 Twisted Hickory Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Overseer Lonnice Graham. 
 

Burial- Lesane Cemetery, Dublin, NC. 
 

Viewing- Friday, June 11, 2021 from 1:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Theresa Jacobs 77 Edgewood Street, Clarkton, NC.
