Mr. John Willie Thomas, 89, of 213 Front St., Lumberton, NC transitioned on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Liberty Commons Nursing Center in Lumberton, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- nephew, Michael Thomas(Paula) of Lumberton, NC, Godson, Bishop Clarence L. Sexton(Sheldine) of Brooklyn, New York, Goddaughter, Missionary Hazel Holliday of Brooklyn, New York, a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral- Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Apostle Ellie Baker, Pastor of True Believer Church of the Almighty God, Lumberton, NC.

Burial- Sandhill State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC on October, 31, 2025.
