Mr. John Thomas McRae, 69, 1357 Baldwin Branch Church Rd., Elizabethtown, NC died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Survivors- his wife, Patricia McRae of the home, two daughters, Timeka Smith(Marchello) of Charlotte, NC and Maranda McRae of Elizabethtown, NC, one son, James McRae(Tracy) of Council, NC, his mother, Johnnie Mae McRae of Elizabethtown, NC, one sister, Bertha Pridgen(Otis) of Bladenboro, NC, four brothers, Charles McRae, Victor McRae(Kimberly), Willie McRae and Frank McRae all of Elizabethtown, NC, 18 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral- Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at Lula’s Temple Holiness Church, 508 Della St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Elder Donald Thomas.

Burial- Pone Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Monday, April 17, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
