Mr. John Lawrence Lucas, Jr., 76, of 2104 MLK Dr., Elizabethtown, NC transitioned Saturday, July 26, 2025 at his residence.

Survivors- two brothers, Sherwood Lucas(Rosalind) of Elizabethtown, NC and Obie “Donavan” Lucas(Sheila) of Columbus, Ohio, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins his beloved Delaware/Tomahawk NC crew-the Beatty’s.
 

Just as John would have wanted, we’re throwing a party to honor the man, the myth, and the legend. Please join us for A Celebration of Life on August 17, 2025 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Lewis Building, 1711 MLK Dr., Elizabethtown, NC.
