Mr. James Edward Williams, 90, of Queens, New York formerly of Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Viewing- Monday, November 24, 2025 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Visitation- The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Mary Williams Dawkins, 234 Mt. Olive Rd., Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- three sons, Andrew Williams of Elizabethtown, NC, Spencer Williams and Edward Devon both of New York, two daughters, Glenda Gillespie-Williams and Kessa Singleton both of New York, one brother, Clyde Williams of Maryland.

Funeral- Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11:00am at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt. Olive Church Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver.

Burial- Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, 807 MLK Drive, Elizabethtown, NC.
