Mr. James Alvin Pone, 68, 11990 Twisted Hickory Rd., Bladenboro, NC died Saturday, July 6, 2024 at his residence.

Survivors- four sisters, Iris Stevens of Central Islip, NY, Geraldine Boone of Fayetteville, NC, Elma Fulmer(Tim) of Elizabethtown, NC and Marie Pone of Patterson, NJ, one brother, Carl Pone(Nora) of Belport, NY.

Funeral- Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Dr. Michael McKinley, Pastor of Royal Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Ivanhoe, NC.

Burial- Pone Cemetery, Bladenboro, NC.

Viewing- A viewing will be held Sunday after the service. The family will receive friends at the home.
