Mr. James Melvin Obituary

Mr. James Albert Melvin, 69, of 75 Walsh Rd. Yonkers, NY, formerly of White Oak, NC died Saturday, May 9, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital in Yonkers, NY.

Visitation- Family will receive friends at 167 Clem Council Rd., White Oak, NC.

Survivors- his children, Latesha Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, Erica Melvin, Janette Melvin, Donta Melvin, Asia Hepburn, Jahvonne Melvin, Tiara Hepburn, Jalania Hepburn, Myeia Hepburn and Jardaya Hepburn all of Yonkers, NY, three brothers, Larry Melvin, Jason Melvin and Matthews Melvin all of White Oak, NC and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral- Sunday, May 17, 2020 at 4:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St. Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Woodrow Hill.

Burial- First New Light Cemetery, White Oak, NC.

There will be a viewing after the service on Sunday.
