Mr. James Lewis Obituary

Mr. James Lewis, 93 of 1906 MLK Dr. Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at his residence.

Survivors- his wife, Kathryn Lewis of the home, three daughters, Carlotta Mumford, Jacquelyn Walls and Sandra Harding all of Maryland, one son, James H. Lewis(Gloria) of Maryland, five siblings, Edward Lewis, Carl Lewis, Sarah Singletary, Ethel Evans and Sherby Lewis, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Viewing- Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Visitation- The family will receive friends at the home.

Funeral- Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 2:00pm at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt.,Olive Rd. Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver.

Burial- Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
