Mr. James D. Lewis, 66, 3034 US Hwy 701S Elizabethtown, NC died Friday, February 3, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.
Survivors- his wife, Shirley Lewis of the home, two daughters, Jane Lewis of Richmond, VA and Regina Brand of Atlanta, GA, three sons, Jarell Brand of Bronx, NY, Christopher Brand of Ogden, Utah and Aaron Flippen of Albermarle, NC, one brother, Ronnie Lewis(Darling) of Hilton Head, SC, four sisters, Gwenda Lesane, Jackie Singletary(Phil) and Mary Baldwin all of Elizabethtown, NC, and Sandra Munn of Raleigh, NC, 8 grandchildren.
Funeral- Friday, February 10, 2023 at 11:00am at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Michael Ballard, Pastor of St. John AME Zion Church, Elizabethtown, NC.
Burial- St. John Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
Viewing- Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
