Survivors- his wife, Laronda Banks Gill of the home, two sons, Dequan Banks(Susie) and Robert Gill, three daughters, J’Mela Vaughan(Marcellus), Deja Cromartie and Arianna Gill, three sisters, Dorothy Burke(Milton), Yvonne McKoy and Bernice Boger(Samuel), 2 grandchildren, Marley and Khanlani Vaughan. 

Funeral- Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Anthony Thomas. 
 

Burial- St. James Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.
