Mr. James Edward Carter. 79, of South Carolina formerly of Clarkton, NC died Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC. 
 

Survivors- one daughter, Lisa Blakely(Chris) of Columbia, SC, one son, Kevin Carter(Darlene) of New York, one sister, Frances Melvin of Elizabethtown, NC, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter. 
 

Viewing- Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the church. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:00pm at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1604 White Plain Church Rd., Clarkton, NC. 
 

Burial- New Hope Church Cemetery, Clarkton, NC.
