Survivors- one son, Gilbert Haire, Jr., of Elizabethtown, NC, two sisters, Betty Whitted of Raleigh, NC and Annese Haire of Elizabethtown, NC, two nephews, Nicholas Whitted of Raleigh, NC and Maurice Haire of Elizabethtown, NC, one great aunt, Daisy Jones of Jamaica, New York, three aunts, Betty Wilson of Fayetteville, NC, Bernice Steele of Elizabethtown, NC and Gloria Wright(Fred) of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, two uncles, Vernell Melvin(Jarutha) of Fayetteville, NC and Larry Carr of Whiteville, NC. 
 

Funeral- Friday, November 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Dr. AD Brown. 
 

Burial- Dove Chapel Church Cemetery, 10350 Turnbull Rd., Fayetteville, NC. 
 

Viewing- Friday, November 24, 2023 from 10:30am-12:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
