Mr. George “Phillip” Reaves, Jr., 67, 900 Joel St., Elizabethtown, NC died Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare, Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- his mother, Betty Ann Thomas Reaves of Elizabethtown, NC, one daughter, Deshanna Nicole Lesane of Elizabethtown, NC, one son, Craig Shaw of SC, his Fiancée, Arnita Batchelor of Elizabethtown, NC, two sisters, Ressie Johnson and Evangelist Jackie Melvin, one brother, Franklin McKoy, special cousins, Betty Stephens, Gerald (Popcorn) Reaves, Otis Reaves and Randolph Reaves, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.

Funeral- Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Joyce McLaughlin, Pastor of Savannah Temple AME Zion Church, Clarkton, NC.

Viewing- Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00am-11:00am at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at 680 Smith Circle, Apt. 22A Elizabethtown, NC.
