Mr. Evans DeWitt Dixon, 90, of New York, formerly of Riegelwood, NC died on October 14, 2024.

Survivors- three daughters, Cheryl Royster(Walter Jr.) of Norina, NC, Majette Dixon-Rosip(Lance) of Queen Village, NY and Daisy Hicks of Charlotte, NC, one son, Edwin Dixon Jr. of Queen Village, NY, one brother, Manuel “Adolph”(Y’lene) of Brooklyn, NY, one sister, Frances(George) of Riegelwood, NC, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral- Monday, October 21, 2024 at 11:30am at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church 1437 E. Arcadia Rd., Riegelwood, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Joseph Dixon.

Burial- Pleasant Union Church Cemetery, Riegelwood, NC.
