Mr. Eugene Scott Lloyd, 58, 16817 Old Lake Rd., Riegelwood, NC formerly of White Oak, NC died Saturday, February 17, 2024 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. 
 
Survivors- his wife, Valerie Williams Lloyd of the home; two daughters, Brianna Lloyd of Garland, NC and Falone Ali(Jeremiah) of Buffalo, NY; four sons, Steven Lloyd of Council, NC, Darius Lloyd of Baltimore, MD, Alwyn Smith (Ebony) and Dorian Dixon(Saje) of Riegelwood, NC; four sisters, Sandra Newkirk(Daryl) of Elizabethtown, NC, Marilyn Burns(Rodney) of Fayetteville, NC, Iris Washington (Sean) of Lumberton, NC and Patrice Smith(Elwaner) of Tar Heel, NC; three brothers, Tracy Washington(Conseulo) and Don Lloyd(Ebony) of White Oak, NC and Allen Bordeaux (Cheryl) of Piscataway, NJ; 15 grandchildren and a host of relative and friends. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Thomas AME Zion Church, 5673 NC Hwy 53, White Oak, NC. Rev. Priscilla Bennett, Pastor. Eulogy by Rev. Michael Jackson, Pastor of Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Navassa, NC. 
 

Burial- St. Thomas Church Cemetery, White Oak, NC.

Viewing- Friday, February 23, 2024 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home.
