Mr. Edward Lacy, Sr., 51, 16528 Twisted Hickory Rd., Bladenboro, NC died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Survivors- three sons, Brandon Purdie of Texas, Edward Lacy(Nisha) of Coco Beach, Florida and D’Angelo Lacy of Bladenboro, NC, four daughters, Secoya Purdie of Coco Beach, Florida, Kadraya Lacy, Nova Lacy and Ashawntia Frink all of Clarkton, NC, seven sisters, Georginna Pridgen, Gloria Davis(Terry), Deborah McKenzie(Curtis), Katrina Murphy and Cectire Retamar(William) all of Bladenboro, NC, Eartha Pridgen of Clarkton, NC and Amanda Hines of Charlotte, NC, two brothers, Clifton Pridgen(Thomasenia) of Clarkton, NC and George Lacy, Jr.(Jackie) of Lumberton, NC, 9 grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, September 23, 2023 at1:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Donald Thompson. 
 

Burial- Lacy and Shaw Cemetery, SeaBord Edward St., Bladenboro, NC.
 

Viewing- September 22, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. The family will receive friends at the home from 10:00am-7:30pm daily.
