Mr. Douglas Leroy Tatum, 79, 704 Powell St., Elizabethtown, NC died Monday, February 26, 2024 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center in Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- seven children, Nathan Council(Tasha) of Lumberton, NC, Douglas Tatum(Stephanie) of White Oak, NC, Roderick Tatum of Lumberton, NC, Katrice Campbell(Sylvester) of Elizabethtown, NC, Natasha Rogers of Elizabethtown, NC, Cynthia Clinton of Bladenboro, NC and Michael Thomas(Paula) of Lumberton, NC, one sister, Bernice Ragsdale(Bill) of Virginia and one brother, Charles Tatum of White Oak, NC.

Funeral- Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Pastor Kelvin Barnes, Pastor of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Lumberton, NC.

Burial- Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, NC.

Viewing- Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.
