Mr. Don “Donnell” Earl Grate, 70, of 1600 MLK Dr. Elizabethtown, NC transitioned on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC.

Viewing- Monday, February 16, 2026 from 3:00pm-6:00pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC.

Visitation- The family will be receiving friends at the home of Mack & Dorothy Martin, 5917 Mercer Mill Rd., Clarkton, NC.

Funeral- Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:00am at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church, 32 Mt. Olive Church Rd., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Haywood Oliver.
