Mr. Demetrius Vidal Council, 52, of 1107 Richardson St., Elizabethtown, NC died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley/Bladen Healthcare in Elizabethtown, NC.

Survivors- his wife, Teresa Council of the home, one daughter, Lauren Council of Elizabethtown, NC, one son, Channing Maxwell of Charlotte, NC, his father, James Shipman of New York, three sisters, Sharecka McKoy Baker(Jaquan) of Rowland, NC, Tarasha McKoy Bain(Deterrio) and Tanisha McKoy both of Hope Mills, NC.

Funeral- Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1:00pm at First New Light Missionary Baptist Church, 5146 River Road, White Oak, NC.

Burial- First New Light Church Cemetery, White Oak, NC.

Viewing- Friday, October 25, 2024 from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the church.
