Mr. David Lee Lucas, 95, of 109 Cheryl Ave., Durham, NC, formerly of Wilmington, NC transitioned on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. 
 

Viewing & Visitation- Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 1:30pm-2:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Service, Elizabethtown, NC. 
 

Survivors- one son, William Lucas(Lessie) of Fayetteville, NC, three daughters, Shawn Dunnom(Michael) of Long Island, NY, Colleen Chamblee of Ahsokie, NC and Tena Lucas-McPherson of Durham, NC, 6 grandchildren, 3 great- grandchildren. 
 

Funeral- Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:30pm at Willie E. Johnson Memorial Chapel on the facility of Johnson’s Funeral Service, 207 S. Pine St., Elizabethtown, NC. Eulogy by Rev. Jimmy Wilson. 
 

Burial- Wilson Chapel Cemetery, 833 Over Lyon Rd., Kelly, NC.
